Sky Blight -- Character Design

Meet Raguel, also known as Sky Blight, Captain of the Cloud Ocean and Skurge of the Sky Pirates! Raguel is from Frita (FR-36), and she’s one of the six sextagonists in the game. The player encounters her in her home dimension, where she’s fighting off her rival, Mettle, and their interdimensional trafficking. Raguel has cybernetic limbs and wyvern wings, meaning she hits fast and hard with her air affinity. She is half human and half wyvern, being the only one of her kind in Frita, where the wyvern race lives beneath the clouds in fear of the world above. Also beneath the clouds is a tribe of humans, long lost from their above counterparts. These two tribes are where Raguel’s parents were born, and in true Romeo and Juliet fashion, ignored the squabbles of their tribes to pursue love and bear a child. Afraid for their child’s life and to give her a better life, her father tried to flee to the surface with Raguel, only to be fought off by his own tribe. He was able to get the baby to a fishing vessel on the surface, but not before she lost her legs and he lost his life. Raguel was raised by the fishers, where she grew up to be a menace to pirates everywhere, with no clue as to her true origins. In the first game, the player will explore the surface of Frita, fighting the cloud pirates and making your way to Phin City, where the rest of the population of Frita lives. In the second game, Raguel and her friends fall beneath the ocean, where they discover the secrets beneath the clouds and fight their way back to the surface. Since Raguel is a main character, she is recruited through the base story.
